In Turin, Italy, there is an immense complex, virtually a small city in itself, called the "Piccola Casa della Divina Provvidenza". (The Little House of Divine Providence.) It contains a dozen religious communities of men and women and "families" of seculars, each one dedicated to some kind of charitable work or to the contemplative life. They harmoniously share a common objective: the relief of their neighbor's physical and spiritual suffering. The founder of this extraordinary work is the Saint whose story is related here.
