Our Cover: The encounter of Jesus and Mary
O Mary! I shall never be able to understand the blow that pierced Your heart when You saw Your Son, covered in blood, exhausted, pushed about and struck by His executioners. You longed to be there, to sustain Him by Your maternal presence—for a suffering child, there is no greater comfort than the presence of his mother!
O divine Mary, if only I could have within my breast the hearts of all the Saints, to console Yours for the anguish You endured for my salvation. Remember, O Mother, that I am Your child; come and strengthen me in the dark hours of trial and temptation. When my soul leaves this life, come to meet me and present me to Jesus; may my great hope in You lead me to Heaven. Amen.
