Holy Virgin, who were so intimately linked to the Passion of Your Divine Son, teach us Yourself, show us what Your Son did for us. From His birth, You knew that this Child would be sacrificed for the salvation of the world, and You accepted that sacrifice. You became the Virgin of Sorrows. Most Holy Mother, pierce our hard hearts through the sight of the sufferings of our Saviour.

May the Passion of Jesus melt the ice in our heart and make us realize the greatness of the love of our God. When we realize how much God loves us, we will be insatiable in our desire to return His love, and we will never believe we are doing too much for Him.
