The Heart of My Mother has a right to the title Sorrowful, and I will that it be placed before Immaculate, because She acquired it Herself… through Her immolation on Calvary, through Her identification with all My sufferings, accepted and borne for the salvation of humanity. It is in this co-redemption that My Mother was most truly great.
