OUR LADY OF LAUS

France 1664

Our Lady of Laus first appeared to Blessed Benoite Rencurel during the month of May 1664. From that day on for 54 years, this humble country girl remained the student and confidante of the Queen of Heaven, who visited her in about 600 apparitions. "Prayer and penance," entreated the Mother of Jesus. "I have asked My divine Son for Laus, and He has granted it to Me for the conversion of sinners." The Virgin Mary then asked Blessed Benoite to have a great church built, in which "many sinners, men and women, will be converted." And indeed, countless wonders have occurred there.
